Comfort and the lack of concrete problems with an identified cause have never led to anything more than complacency in inaction.
Especially for a teenager...
All school-related issues, including career guidance, have this central tipping point.
As long as the situation does not become critical, no one addresses it.
In a society that values immediate comfort and only addresses problems when they become debilitating, taking the time to evaluate situations, stakes, and avenues for improvement allows us not only to anticipate but also to rethink our approach to education and social development.
Not to create unnecessary difficulties, but to accept that personal stakes are an integral part of the growth process and, above all, lay the foundation for a society and its norms.
Choosing a career and deciding on one's work is not merely a quest for personal pleasure or a duty of social profitability. It is an act of emancipation: it engages how one thinks of oneself in a shared world and what one decides to build within it. Because ultimately, what each person chooses to do with their life also contributes to defining the society in which we will all evolve.
