This work offers a critical and transdisciplinary reconstruction of the professional orientation process.
It deconstructs the logics of influence, implicit assignment, and the discourses that perpetuate the illusion of a “free choice.”
🧭 Rather than offering yet another prescriptive model or roadmap, this text opens a space for reflection grounded in emancipation, reflexivity, and the ecology of choice.
🎯 Because one cannot seriously claim to foster autonomy through inherited, vague or instrumentalized frameworks, without ever examining their foundations.
It speaks to those who:
-
claim to support others ethically, yet never question their own framework, posture, or assumptions;
-
rely on tools without understanding their theoretical grounding, implicit logic, or real-world effects;
-
seek to bring critical thinking and genuinely ethical co-construction back to the core of the orientation process;
-
invoke "autonomy", without ever deepening what it actually implies or measuring the real effects of their own practices;
-
unknowingly reproduce the very biases they claim to fight: systems that, under the guise of care and support, reinforce gender stereotypes, normalize social inequality, and render invisible the mechanisms of assignment and constrained consent — all while invoking autonomy.
This is not a handbook of ready-made solutions.
It offers a rigorous framework for thinking differently.
